About The Vest Lady

Hi, I’m Jenny — better known around the submarine community as The Vest Lady.

I’ve been doing custom embroidery for more than 20 years, creating vests, patches, ballcaps, clothing, and other gear for submarine veterans, their families, and the people who are proud to support them.

SubVEST grew from years of working directly with submariners and listening to what they wanted: quality pieces that recognize their boats, their service, their history, and the friendships that come with being part of the submarine community.

A lot of what I make is personal. Hull numbers matter. Boat names matter. The patches and embroidery on a vest tell a story, and I try to make sure those details are treated with the respect they deserve.
